Charly's first date
Okay so since this is mainly suppose to be covering the dates Charly and I doubled on together here is the first. This was her first date as she turned 16 a month after I did. She planned the date. (Which would actually be the trend set for the rest of our dates. She plans it and I find a date either for me, for her, or for both.) Apparently I decided that I was going to wear a different jacket for several dates here on out because I accidently started this trend with this date. It was a super fun date. My date was one of my oldest friends and we always just have a fun time whenever we go out. We are both just crazy! We ate at Chick fila because that is where Charly wanted to eat at. Can't say that it is my favorite place to eat but it wasn't bad. After that we went on Trax downtown to see the Christmas lights. I think it is funny that Charly claims this is her perfect dream first date because it wasn't long until we got into an argument over who pays. Her date felt really bad about her paying for dinner and so we remedied that at the traxs station. We all held Charly back while her date went and paid for the tickets. Needless to say it was the first (of many) that she would get mad at me. After she finally got over it it was really fun.

Lesson from first date
So I actually don't remember everything that I did on my first date but I do remember some things. It was my 16th birthday and I doubled with my sister so that we would have a driver. I can't remember the actual activity but I do remember that who the girl was (yeah that is a little important) and the lesson I learned when we went to get something to eat. First, you don't need to get something to eat on a date because it can be expensive and eating with girls can be.....interesting to put it nicely. Some girls just don't want to eat sometimes and so you better not be hungry. There is nothing worse then when you are starving and can't eat because you don't want to eat in front of your date. Solution: simply avoid eating out unless the girl is actually going to eat. Some of the best dates when it comes to eating is when you plan it out and just bring a fun pack lunch type thing. Other then that it was a great date to begin my dating career.
Introduction to my dating life and this blog
So pretty much like any teenage guy I was excited and a little nervous when I thought about dating. I mean driving was exciting but the idea of going out with a girl seemed a little scary to begin with. Honestly I had no idea how "scary" dating could really be. My cousin was challenged to date 100 guys before she got married and we decided early on to take this challenge together. At first, like most anyone, I was worried about how we would come up with ideas and how I would be able to provide money for all of these dates. My cousin and I started to gather as much information on varies dating ideas and found out very quickly that it didn't take a lot of money to have the time of your life. In fact, as I will show later, some of my favorite dates were the ones that didn't cost us anything. My cousin recently challenged me to make a blog talking about how I feel on our dates. I wish I had kept as good of track as she did because all I can comment on are the ones we both went on together. Her posts are on her blog charlydating101.blogspot.com. Here is my take on certain dates and how overall it affected my life.
